Best of the Midwest Playday at Adrian College, Oct. 7th

• The women traveled to Adrian, MI this weekend to take on a few varsity (DII and DIII) programs to kick off the fall ball season. The Wolverines started off their fall-ball season with a strong showing, with an opening weekend record of 3-0. Game results included 2 close victories over Adrian College (8-6) and Notre Dame College (10-9), and a more comfortable finishing victory over Davenport University (7-3). All of the Wolverines saw lots of action in the day, and 9 different Wolverines tallied goals in the victories.

Fall Ball Playday at Adrian:

The Wolverines travel to Adrian on Sunday, October 7th, for their opening fall playday of the 2012-13 season. The games will be played on grass fields, adjacent to the baseball and softball fields. Here's a link to the Adrian campus map. Also, you can use this as your destination in Google Maps. Games format is: full field games, with 2, 25-minute running clock halves, and a 5 minute half time. Also, NCAA rules will be followed, not US Lacrosse. In addition, the new experimental rule of defending in the crease will also be played on Sunday. Here's the schedule of games:
