Personal Profile:

Nana picked up the game while in high school and came on strong in her first two collegiate seasons, earning a solid role in the defensive rotation last year. With competitve ice hockey in her athletic background, the Wolverines are excited to see Nana continue to develop as a stalwart defender on the lacrosse field. Nana has extremely fast feet and is a great strategist -- always analyzing situations and asking questions about how best to handle things. Look for Nana to hassle attackers with her crazy tyrades in Japanese and her pesky faceguarding moves. Nana earned the team award "Most Improved" for last season, due to her dramatic improvement in her stick skills and her confidence carrying the ball out of the defensive end. Nana was also an Academic All-American, the lone Wolverine to earn this distinction last season.

College Career:

This year Kikuchi will look to improve her stick skills as she works towards a starting position. Nana is in the Ross School of Business majoring in Financial Mathematics and is also active in the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.

Parents are Akiko & Masatoshi...
