	Personal Profile: Melissa is an experienced and well rounded Grosse Pointe graduate, and has become an important anchor of the Wolverine defense. She enters this year as a 3-year starter, and has not looked back since establishing herself as a skilled defender Freshman year. Melissa's strength is in her excellent footwork; her approach is textbook and she breaks down her stride perfectly, ready to take on approaching attackers. She is an experienced leader in the back and now has her sights set on winning the National Tournament.

	College Career: Melissa is another relentless player who rounds out the team's formidable defense. She is fundementally sound and quick on her feet. Her high expectations on the field are matched off of it as well, where she is a member of both the French and Italian Honor Societies and also of the group Younglife. Melissa is majoring in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Science and intends to go to Medical School.
