That looks right to me. But I would just setup a firewall to block down all
ips to tcp port 548 and udp port 548, and only allow 123.124.125. subnet.

If you don't want to spend time to play around with Samba. Get the newest
Samba, compile with netatalk support, then the Samba will use AppleVolumes
configuration file for sharing folders.
