I have EXACTLY the same problem on a Cobalt Qube. I have been able to
reproduce it on a 2nd Qube, but am yet to try a Qube 2, but I think they're
both running the same version of netatalk.

Unfortunately I'm yet to resolve the problem, however in my instance it's
only "group" volumes which are affected ... personal (i.e. home
directories") seem to be ok.

Its NOT a quota problem ... its only a problem for "applications" so its my
guess that Finder is trying to set something to indicate that the file is an
application (possibly "executable"?) and netatalk is refusing to play nice.

Cheers, Malcolm
