Joining Golden Key
Golden Key International Honour Society is an organization dedicated to the recognition of outstanding academic achievement. Membership is available to Juniors and Seniors in the top fifteen percent of their class (usually students with a GPA of 3.6 or higher). After the invitation is sent, there is a one time membership fee of seventy dollars, which goes toward scholarships. Once you become a member, you are a member for life. As a member of Golden Key, you receive the following benefits:

The University of Michigan Chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society is dedicated to more than honouring academic achievement. We believe community involvement is a crucial part of being a member. This does not mean you must participate in community activities, but the option is available for those interested and we strongly encourage it. Golden Key participates in community activities through service projects, fundraisers, donations, and community awareness. We support other service groups on campus, and encourage members to get involved. We believe that by combining excellence in academic achievement, leadership, and community service, we can make the world a better place.
