Welcome

Group Photo

Shalom and welcome to the official website of Kol Hakavod, the University of Michigan's premiere Jewish a cappella group. We hope that you have found this website in health and happiness. If, for some reason, you have stumbled upon this webpage in error - too bad! You're staying here and never leaving...not ever!

In Kol Hakavod we focus on music that is both culturally and religiously Jewish. We sing anything from Sabbath prayers to Israeli pop songs; from Hebrew Scriptures to American songs that just happen to be written by Jewish musicians. We harmonize in U of M's Hillel, demand attention on the Diag, and belt out tunes in public bathrooms.

We are a goofy and lovable bunch of college students with a passion for kosher meat, JDate, and singing our little hearts out.

Please feel free to peruse our website for samples of our music, Kol Hakavod photos, and all kinds of other information. Please see our contact page to book us for an event or to just "challah" at us.
