Eligibility
University of Michigan students are not eligible for REU funding.

Notices - Please Read BEFORE you apply

1. REU funding can only be used for US Citizens or Permanent Residents (Green Card holders). Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for International students.
2. The dates of the program are fixed by the end date because the housing cannot be extended as our school year begins. You must be available to begin the program on June 2.
3. If you receive an offer from us, and you accept, you should plan to honor that commitment. It is simply unfair to accept a position with the intent of turning it down, later.
4. When you apply, you will receive a file number to send to your recommenders. Please be careful give them the proper number so that we can track your application properly.
5. Students should ensure that their health insurance coverage extends through their participation in the summer research program.
