Subscribing to my.umich.announce
The my.umich.announce e-mail group receives announcements related to the my.umich.edu Web environment. Members of this group receive invitations to the monthly Brown Bag meetings and other occasional messages that provide information of general interest.
The my.umich.announce e-mail group is a joinable group, which means that you can subscribe it. To join, perform these steps.
- Display the U-M Online Directory
- Search for my.umich.announce
- When the my.umich.announce page appears, click "Subscribe to this group."
- If you haven't yet authenticated, you will be prompted for your uniqname and UMICH password. Enter them and click Log in.
- A list of all groups to which you are subscribed will appear, with an entry for my.umich.announce included.
- Click "Confirm Changes."
This group will be listed in the "Group Subscriptions" section of your individual directory entry, and you will receive e-mail sent to the group.
