- The mission of Verve is to bring together University of Michigan students who are interested in assisting the underserved community of Flint, Michigan. Members will dedicate their time to raising funds for Hurley Medical Center while also gaining hands-on experience volunteering there and teaching public health education to children at Flint elementary schools.
We intend to hold fundraising events such as a variety show, a 5k run, silent auction, and more. In addition to financial support, we would also like to serve the Hurley community in whatever way we are needed, including making and distributing handcrafted gifts for the children in the pediatric unit.. -
